Snorkeling in the Caribbean (Bay of Pigs)

  • This tour will be by A/C hardtop classic cars. Tour Guide included.
  • Pick up from Cruise Ships Terminal (Havana 9h:00 to 18:00h)
  • Drive South/East to Bay of Pigs, a combination of history and countryside.
  • This full-day excursion will take you to the Zapata Peninsula, the largest wetlands of the Caribbean.
  • Visit Guama, a touristic center where you can enjoy a speedboat ride (12 CUC per person admission fee, payable on site) in the Treasure Lake, and visit a full-scale replica of an aboriginal Indian village. Learn about the life of the indigenous people when Christopher Columbus discovered the island in 1492.
  • Visit a crocodile-breeding farm (5 CUC per person admission fee, payable on site), which is considered one of the largest in America. You will get the chance to learn more about those reptiles and see them up close.
  • Visiting this area will also give you the opportunity to get familiar with one of the decisive chapters of the Cuban Revolution (The US invasion by Bay of Pigs in 1961).
  • Time for lunch (not included in the tour price).
  • Continue on to the Bay of Pigs and enjoy snorkeling in the Caribbean (not included).
  • Swim at la Cueva de Los Peces cenote (admission fee may apply).
  • Return to Havana.
