Snorkeling in the Caribbean (Bay of Pigs)

  • Pick up from hotels or Cruise Ships (Varadero 8h:00 to 18h:00) and (Havana 8h:00 to 18:00h)
  • Drive all the way from north to south of the province, a combination of history and countryside.
  • This full-day excursion will take you to the Zapata Peninsula, which is the largest wetlands of the Caribbean.
  • Visit Guama, a tourist center where you will enjoy a speedboat ride (12 cuc per person admission fee) on the Treasure Lake to visit a full-scale replic of an Indian village and learn about the life of the indigenous people when Christopher Columbus discovered the island in 1492.
  • Visit also a crocodile-breeding farm (5 cuc per person admission fee), which is considered one of the largest in America, and where you will get the chance to learn more about those reptiles and get close and personal with them.
  • Visiting the area will also give you the opportunity to get familiar with one of the decisive chapters of the Cuba Revolution (The US invasion by Bay of Pigs).
  • Time for lunch (not included).
  • You will continue to the Bay of Pigs and enjoy snorkeling on the Caribbean (not included)
